Before & After School Care in Richton Park, IL

School hours and work hours do not line up, and they never have. We cover the gap at both ends of the day, plus the school holidays that catch every working parent out.

Early drop-off

Get to work or the train without cutting it fine.

Homework support

A quiet spot, an adult nearby, and a check that it actually got done.

Snack on arrival

Home-prepared, because nobody does homework hungry.

Holiday & summer cover

Institute days, breaks and full summer care by arrangement.

Early mornings and the after-school stretch

Drop off early enough to make your commute, whether that is the Metra Electric line out of Richton Park or I-57 north. Afternoons start with a snack and some decompression time before anyone opens a folder, because a kid who has just done six hours of school is not ready to do more school.

Homework, then actual free time

We sit with children while they work, keep the room quiet enough to concentrate, and check that the assignment is finished. What we do not do is complete it for them. Once homework is done, the rest of the afternoon is theirs: outside, building, reading or helping with the younger children.

Institute days, breaks and summer

School calendars are full of days that are not holidays for working parents: teacher institute days, early dismissals, winter and spring break. We can cover those, and we run care through the summer. Ask about availability well ahead of the school calendar, since these fill quickly.

Before & After School Care questions parents ask

Which schools do you serve?
We serve school-age children from Richton Park and the surrounding villages, including Matteson, Park Forest, Olympia Fields, University Park and Country Club Hills. Talk to us about your school's bell times and transport before you enroll.
Do you handle school pick-up?
Arrangements vary by school and by year. Raise it at the tour and we will tell you honestly what is workable for your school.
Can I book holiday cover without enrolling full time?
Sometimes, depending on space. Get in touch as early as you can, because institute days and breaks book out first.
